we take our breeding females here for all pre-pregnancy & pregnancy appointments. We usually see Dr. Stone but have seen Dr. Rodgers and they are both great. Denali and Stella have been see for pregnancies here, x-rays, bloodwork, etc.
Dr. Stone has been absolutely amazing, she preformed Stella's C-Section. We have been so fortunate that they have weekend hours and will fit us in when we need it. When it comes to labor you never know what can happen, and Dr. Stone has always been there to help and or just call me to check on progression.
Thankfully my females like to have puppies in the morning,
Dr. Katherine Whitman is a traveling vet. She comes to us for vaccinations, check-ups.
We have her come see the litters within the first 3 days of life for their first health check, dewclaw removal. She comes again at 8 weeks for another health check, microchip, vaccinations, heartworm/ dewormer!
She supplies us with a dewormer to give the puppies at 2,4,6 weeks.
We do not vaccinate before 8 weeks, as then they will have to repeat shots.
If we have a true emergency and its after hours for Wellington Vet, this is were we go. Thank goodness we have only had to use them once, not puppy related.
This is were Wellington Vet sends their patients when they are not open.
